Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Kakinada

Originally established as the College of Engineering, Vizagpatnam in 1946 Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Kakinada became a constituent of the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University on October 1972 through an act of legislature along with other sister institutions under the control of the then Director of Technical Education, Government of Andhra Pradesh. The college which became autonomous in 2003 was affiliated to Andhra University. It is one of the leading institutions in engineering offering BTech and MTech courses.
